Taylor and Carlos’ Craven Farms wedding in Snohomish was a fun and emotional filled day. I’m not sure I have ever seen so many tears on a wedding day. Joyous and heart felt tears just to be clear. I have to say, there is not much that pulls on my heart strings more than seeing happy tears, especially when they come from the groom. Let’s just say I am glad Carlos wasn’t wearing mascara on his wedding day.

The Wedding Venue

The Zepeda wedding was held at Craven Farms in Snohomish, and it is just a perfect spot for an upscale country barn wedding. For example, it has a great combination of really pretty outdoor areas. Also, it has a cool barn with lots of great spots for photos. Though it has been a while since I photographed there, it was lovely to be back. I hope I get to photograph someone else’s wedding there again soon 🙂

The Wedding Highlights

Some highlights from Taylor and Carlos’ Snohomish Wedding for me were:

First, seeing Taylor and Carlos see each other for the first time was special. These two clearly have a special bond and it’s lovely to be part of the next stage in their lives. Gah, I love my job – did you know that?!!!!

Secondly, the donut wall. Nothing more needs to be said about this and my sweet tooth 🙂

Third, the dance party. When I first met Taylor and Carlos waaaaaaaay back in my office in Monroe they, at first meeting, seemed kind of quiet and when they said their dance party was going to get wild I have to admit I wasn’t 100% convinced. As soon as the DJ got the tunes going the dance floor was full and crazy just liked they promised me. I loved that it wasn’t just the “young” crowd too – Aunts, Moms, you name it were getting right in there and throwing shapes. It’s sometimes the quiet ones you have to watch out for, isn’t it???

In closing, Taylor and Carlos – I hope you are enjoying your honeymoon in Europe, and I can’t wait to hear about it when you get back. Thank you for trusting me to document your wedding day for you and your family, and I wish you both all the happiness in the world. Don’t be strangers, and thank  you for the donuts – yup I had two 😉
